Show Policies

It's our goal to ensure the safety of and enjoyment of all attendees and exhibitors at the show. We appreciate the cooperation of all who attend or otherwise participate in the event ("you") in agreeing to and adhering to the show policies below.

By submitting your registration and attending Build Show LIVE, organized by Informa Markets, you agree to be bound by the Informa Markets Visitor Terms and Conditions, and you agree to Build Show LIVE Code of Conduct, guided by the health and safety commitments of Informa AllSecure. In addition, you agree to the additional show policies outlined below. 

All persons planning to attend Build Show LIVE must be registered. Build Show LIVE is a private trade show open to the trade only, and not open to the public.

Children under the age of 17 are allowed on the show floor during show days, provided they have a show badge. Children's badges may be obtained complimentary at the registration area onsite.

During exhibit hall move-in and move-out, no one under 17 is allowed on the show floor.

Each person attending Build Show LIVE will receive one (1) badge. Badges cannot be shared with any colleagues or guests.

 

Build Show LIVE recognizes that both professional and personal situations can result in needing to make a change to business travel. Therefore, all attendee cancellations must be submitted in writing to [email protected].

If you are unable to attend, you may send a substitute. Substitutions may be made at any time prior to the start of the show; however, the request must be in writing (email [email protected] ) by the original registrant. No refunds will be issued after August 15, 2026. No refunds issued at or after the show.

Build Show LIVE is not responsible or liable for any costs incurred due to cancellations or delays of any type including travel and/or weather that may affect purchased events, including education sessions or workshops.

Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all show areas. Anyone who wishes to smoke or vape may do so outside the building or in any of the convention center’s designated smoking areas.

Animals or pets, except Service Animals, are NOT ALLOWED at the event without prior written approval from the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. Service Animals are defined as as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities.

Roller bags are permitted on the show floor. For convenience, a coat and luggage check will be located near the entrance to the exhibit hall, where you can check personal items for $3+ per item.

Strollers are allowed on the show floor during show days.

The use of drones, UAV’s, hoverboards, wheeled transport devices and similar devices are strictly prohibited on the show floor, as well as all areas in the convention center (except for mobility devices required by persons with disabilities).

Only contracted exhibitors are permitted to promote their products, services or company at Build Show LIVE. Company promotion, sample and literature distribution by exhibitors must be done within their contracted exhibit space, with the exception of designated sponsorships and marketing opportunities. This includes, but is not limited to "roaming" characters, handing out flyers, approaching exhibitor booths to sell products, leaving and/or distributing product information in public spaces and show floor aisles, all of which are prohibited. Exhibitors found doing so will be sent back to their booth space and materials left will be recycled. Attendees will be asked to leave the show and forfeit their badge. Any "suitcasers" should be reported to Show Management.

Build Show LIVE reserves the right to verify the identity of any persons, accepting and/or using a show badge. Any person found using another person’s badge will have the badge confiscated and may be asked to leave the show.
