Our Mission and Commitment

We recognize our show has an impact on the environment. Through our Sustainability Program, we are striving to identify, understand, and address these impacts to achieve continual improvement for every show.

Guided by the Informa Markets FasterForward Program, Build Show LIVE 2026 will strive to improve the sustainability of the Residential Construction Industry and our events.

What We Are Doing at Build Show LIVE 2026

We are challenging our attendees, exhibitors, partners, and vendors to embrace sustainability!

What We Will Be Doing:

Recycled printed signage – As an annual event, we are making sure to develop printed materials that can be reused or recycled.
Reduced printed materials & implemented digital wayfinding – We have reduced printed materials and event guides in favor of using the mobile app.
Terracycle recycling bins – Attendees & Exhibitors recycled their badges and lanyards at one of the Terracycle bins in the main lobby.
Replacing single-use water bottles – We are giving our staff and speakers reusable water bottles instead of single-use plastic containers.
Utilized digital signage – We will be using more digital signs onsite where options where possible.

As part of our FasterForward program, Informa Markets has committed to a series of specific and ambitious goals and activities that, over a five year period, will help us become an even more sustainable, high impact business while supporting and accelerating change in our markets.

It commits us to a series of activities between 2020-2025 that will ensure we move FasterForward to become an ever more sustainable, positive impact business. We are moving FasterForward to embed sustainability into everything we do and help our customers and specialist markets do the same. Delivering on this will help us champion specialists in new and more engaging ways.
